La Colina Jazz Band

The La Colina Jazz Band is comprised of woodwind (Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, and Bari Sax), Brass (Trumpets and Trombones), and Rhythm (Piano, Bass, and Drums).

This ensemble plays a wide variety of music, from big band jazz and swing to funk and latin.  Students have an opportunity to improvise and develop the highest standards for performance.

Auditions are typically held in the Spring of the previous year, and entrance into this advanced ensemble is determined by that audition.
